2nd Annual Howl-o-een Pawty - the after pawty

It was a fun filled afternoon for all who joined us at Poochie Glam!

Many Howling pooches gathered together Saturday to show off their Halloween spirit.

Pooches played and socialized while showing of their fabulous costumes for the opportunity to win a grand prize basket worth 100$.

Kiko our CEO was disguised as a vampire, and handed out howl-o-een treat bags filled with yummy Banana wrapped chicken and chicken poppers.

The grand prize up for grabs was a GLAMOUROUS SPA basket with a selection of Royal Treatment Italian pet spa products, a plush organic towel, a ceramic water & food dish for your pooch’s dining spot and soft & tender organic treats from Nutri-Source to munch on after a relaxing day!

All our guests were automatically entered in a draw to win a 20$ in store certificate and there significant others received a 15% off our new fall/winter collection.

Grand Prize

The Grand Prize was awarded to Sabine a Yorkshire terrier dressed up in a creative Cowgirl handmade costume.

Raffle Draw

The lucky winner of our raffel draw went to Carlito the Cowboy.

The Howl-o-een After Pawty!

It was a grand night for all who joined us at Poochie Glam!

People and their Pooches turned up to nibble on canapés while watching dog models (and their human companions) strut down the runway wearing outfits by our very own Quebec designer Lucy Medeiros, owner and founder of Roxy and Lulu Vogue Pet Apparel. The fashion show presented the unveiling of her new fall and holiday collection, from Urban Street Wear to Coordinated Outfits and Flamboyant Pet Couture. True must haves for our furry friends!

 

The evening followed with a doggie costume contest, as dog's line up to show off their creativity and to battle a chance at winning a grand prize! There were dogs of all shapes and sizes dressed in the craziest of costumes! Some of the hottest costumes this season were batman and his partner in crime superman (cousins), a disco angel and our very own host Kiko dressed as Elvis! The most popular costumes were the Devil and the Witch outfits. People also dress their dogs in toutous and wigs, how funny is that!



Grand Prize

The Grand Prize was awarded to Milo a Yorkshire terrier dressed up in an impressive Doctor Mcdreamy Surgeon costume.


Runner-Up

Runner up was awarded to Joya a Bichon frisé dressed up as a beautiful Pirate perfectly accessorized!


Third Prize

Third Prize was awarded to Patti a Yorkshire Terrier dressed as a fabulous tamed Leopard!





The event also featured activities such as fundraising for Sophie's Dog Adoption, where people got the opportunity to meet new buddy's that were looking for new families. A portion of sales generated that evening were donated to this organization on behalf of Poochie Glam, to help fund and allow Sophie's Dog Adoption to provide the care and time required to rehabilitate homeless dogs while finding them loving eternal homes.


We were glad to see a large crowd of people enjoy themselves almost as much as their Pooches did! Everyone had the chance to socialise, do a little sniffing and shopping and enjoy a GLAM pawdicure and glitter sprinkle in our Sweet Dream Spa Room, and of course - show off their latest outfit.

After hours of dazzling dog mingling, guests left with an exclusive doggy bag filled with a sassy unisex dog fragrance blend made by SEXY BEAST and sold at Poochie Glam.
